What: CFC regular-rated chess tournament
all players in the "Pro" section must be a member of the Chess Federation of Canada

Win or lose, each player plays 3 games

When: Saturday, 12 June, 2010
9.30 am till about 4.30pm.
Rounds 10.00, 12.30, 2.30 or a.s.a.p.

Where: Riverside Library, 6305 Wyandotte East, Windsor

Format: Two sections, pro section plays for cash, amateur section plays for trophies.
Adults must play in the pro section, juniors can choose their section.
Players in the "Amateur" section do not have to be CFC members.

Time control: 60 mins per player per game (no increment, sigh)
All chess equipment provided, including Saitek III digital clocks
Player must record the moves

Cost: $20 for pro section, $10 for amateur section

CFC membership: Annual membership, $43 for adults, $14 for juniors.
Single tournament membership ("T-option") $20 adults, $10 juniors.
All players in the "Pro" section must be CFC members or pay the "T-option".

Prizes: Pro section: Cash prizes based on entries (don't get your hopes up, I'm only expecting a few players)
Amateur section: trophies

Registration: Check in 9.00 to 9.45, but...
Pre-registration by email a must
You pay the entry fee at the door
